Capitol Words

This site aggregates the House, Senate and Extension of Remarks sections of the Congressional Record and picks out the most frequently-used word of the day. A few people on today’s Neatorama post about it wished that the information could be presented in a cloud form–more words, visual comparisons in frequency of use, etc–but I sort of like the simplicity of it. The calendar view is really fun–check out the whole week of “energy” at the beginning of June, segueing into discussions on oil. And then there’s a break for “caribbean” on June 13–plans for recess, maybe?
